Terms of use

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Accounts and classroom use

HereLearnWhat helps teachers and presenters create lessons and run audience activities. Keep your account and private presenter links secure. You are responsible for the content you upload and the activities you run. Participants can join public audience activities without a teacher account.

Educators and organisations must assess suitability, obtain any required permissions, and follow applicable safeguarding, education and privacy requirements. Do not upload sensitive student records or content you lack permission to process.

2. Your content and our software

You retain rights you hold in your lessons, materials, notes, recordings, logos and backgrounds. Using the service does not transfer those rights to us. You permit processing, storage and display of that content as needed to provide features you choose, including AI generation, sharing and offline copies. You must have the necessary rights to uploaded and third-party material.

Sharing a replay or activity link makes the shared content available to people with access to that link. Community submissions are subject to moderation. HereLearnWhat’s software, brand and original assets remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Rights in AI outputs depend on applicable law; uniqueness and copyright eligibility are not guaranteed.

3. AI drafts and review

AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable content. Review all generated slides, questions, answers, notes and reports before use, especially numerical tables and sensitive topics. A requested slide count is a maximum target, not a promise of complete source coverage. Safety filtering reduces risk but cannot guarantee safe output.

4. Tokens and payments

Current action prices and token packs appear on the Pricing page. Tokens are app-specific usage credits, not money or transferable funds. Prices are shown before generation, and successful AI drafts spend tokens even if you choose not to keep them. Failed generation should not spend tokens; any incorrect charge needs review.

Token packs are one-time purchases processed by Stripe, with applicable tax shown at checkout. Unused packs may be refunded within 14 days; see the Refund policy.

5. Availability and acceptable use

Live audience interaction and AI require internet access. Offline use requires a saved device copy and does not include every live feature or embedded website/video. Keep a backup for important presentations. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Do not use the service for illegal, abusive or harmful content, infringe others’ rights, attempt unauthorised access, or misuse audience data. Access may be restricted to protect participants or the service, subject to applicable law.

6. Privacy

The Privacy notice describes current data handling. These terms do not waive mandatory consumer rights.

7. Operator, governing law and contact

HereLearnWhat is operated by Tang YS, a sole proprietor in Singapore. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over disputes, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
