1. Accounts and lesson materials

We process account details such as email and display name, sign-in sessions, token balances and usage history. Lessons may contain uploaded documents, images, branding, notes, audio and video. This data is used to provide accounts, editing, storage, generation and presentation features.

2. Audience activities

Live activities can process participant names, answers and scores depending on the activity. Anonymous word clouds publish word counts rather than contributor identities. Audience Q&A does not identify askers in the presenter inbox, but askers can see their own submissions and presenters can spotlight a question publicly.

Survey responses contain answers and a one-way device hash used to reduce repeat submissions, not an account identity. Owners can see responses and reports; small-group breakdowns are suppressed below the survey’s minimum group size. Free-text answers can still identify people if they include personal details, and device-based duplicate prevention is not proof of one unique person.

3. AI and service providers

Our main service providers include Lovable Cloud for accounts, database and media storage, Cloudflare for website hosting and delivery, and Stripe for payments and billing. When you request AI generation, relevant prompts, documents, slide content, notes or survey data are sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to the provider of the selected model, which may include OpenAI or Google. Account and service emails are handled through our email service providers. Third-party embeds such as YouTube may receive device and network information when loaded and apply their own privacy policies.

These services operate internationally, so information may be stored or processed outside Singapore. Processing locations, retention and protections depend on the service and its applicable terms. Contact admin@herelearnwhat.app for information about providers used for your data and applicable international-transfer arrangements.

The app requests non-stored AI responses where supported. This is not a guarantee that all providers retain nothing or never use data for training. Avoid sending confidential or sensitive personal information unless you are authorised and have assessed this processing.

4. Device storage and usage counts

Browser storage keeps sign-in sessions, preferences, practice progress and downloaded lesson/media copies. Device copies can remain after sign-out; remove saved presentations separately on shared devices. Practice progress can synchronise for signed-in users.

Optional feature counts record allowlisted tool categories, not lesson content, names or answers. They respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control and can be disabled below. This preference applies to the current browser. Service and security logs are separate from these aggregate feature counts.

We only count which tools are opened (for example, "Word Match played"). No names, answers or lesson content are ever sent. Untick to stop on this browser; browser "Do Not Track" settings are respected.

5. Sharing, retention and requests

Audience links, replay links and community publishing expose the content associated with those features. Share links carefully. Disabling a replay cannot remove copies already downloaded by someone else.

Our retention policy is to keep account details and saved lessons while your account is active, unless you delete the material or request account closure. Our policy for payment and invoice records is five years for accounting purposes, or longer where legally required. Live-session and audience activity records can remain after a session ends, is reset or its lesson is deleted. To remove those associated records, request deletion through our privacy contact. Separate surveys and community submissions may also need to be removed separately.

There is not yet a complete self-service account-erasure workflow. To request access, correction or deletion of your data, email admin@herelearnwhat.app. We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days. If verification, legal obligations or technical limits require more time, we will explain the reason and expected timing. These are retention and handling policies, not a guarantee of automatic deletion on those dates.

Removing a lesson or device copy is not equivalent to erasing all account, provider or backup records. Records needed for accounting, legal claims or security may be retained where necessary; provider logs and backups follow their own retention schedules. Downloaded copies on your devices must be removed separately. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection.

6. Children and schools

Teachers and organisations must supervise classroom use and determine appropriate permissions and notices. Avoid asking children for unnecessary personal information. Classroom safety filters do not establish compliance with every education or child-privacy law.

7. Who we are
